The journey for Nashville recording artist and East Central Indiana native Corey Cox has been anything but normal. At the age of four, he received his first baseball glove. At the age of six, his first set of golf clubs. At the age of eight, his first real football.

Despite being a multi-sport athlete in high school and playing college baseball at Anderson University, it was only after receiving his first guitar at the age of 15 in which his life would be changed forever.

From that point, his music career quickly shifted into gear. Within two years, he played his first acoustic concert in a small town corner bar in Markleville, Indiana.

Since forming his first band a few short years ago, Cox has packed many local clubs and venues. His path to success has recently included stops across the Midwest and opening for such national acts as Diamond Rio and Emerson Drive.
