Facilities
Maintenance Technician
The Diamond Jo Casino has one (1) flex position averaging 0-16 hours per week for a Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate performs maintenance at facility and on grounds including paint, wallpaper and patches walls in building. Helps set up and take down for special events. Runs water, gas and sewage lines. Repairs all faucets and drains. Installs and repairs kitchen equipment. Pulls wire for electrical projects and surveillance. Promotes positive public relations. Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years facilities/maintenance and construction experience in addition to strong plumbing, painting, electrical, and woodworking skills.Work shift to be determined; day/swing/grave.

Cook III
Attends assigned buffet cooking stations to prepare various foods according to menu portion and quality specification. Promotes positive public relations. There are two (2) part-time openings for this position, averaging 16-31 hours per week, and one (1) full-time position, averaging 32-40 hours per week. Applicants must be available any/all shifts.

Dishwasher
The Diamond Jo Casino has two (2) openings for a part-time dishwasher. This position will average 16-32 hours per week. Kitchen experience helpful but not necessary. Applicant must be available day and swing shifts.

Waitstaff
The Diamond Jo Casino has two (2) openings for flex status waitstaff in our Kitchen Buffet. Prior experience in a buffet or restaurant desired but not mandatory.

Buffet Chef
The Diamond Jo Casino has one (1) opening for an experienced Chef in our Kitchen Buffet. Prior experience with Continental, Asian and Italian menus would be highly desired, along with experience managing a staff of prep, line and display cooks. High volume restaurant experience, along with food inventory skills are also desired.

Casino Host
The Diamond Jo Casino has one (1) opening for a Casino Host. Prior experience in public relations, guest services, and a gaming environment are highly desired. Flexible schedule a must.
Poker Room
Poker Dealer
The Diamond Jo Casino has one (1) opening for part-time status Poker Dealer.The successful candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of common Poker games, have prior Poker dealing and tournament experience in a licensed casino and be able to obtain or currently possess an IRGC badge. Excellent communications skills and interpersonal relations are a must in this position.
Security
Security Guard
The Diamond Jo Casino has (1) opening for a full-time Grave/Swing shift Security Guard. Prior police, military or security experience are a plus. Strong communications skills and public relations are needed. Some moderately heavy lifting as well as walking and standing are required.
Surveillance
Observer
The Diamond Jo Casino has one (1) opening for a part-time Surveillance Observer. Observes all activities of both guests and employees on the casino floor, cage, change booths and count rooms by way of the closed circuit television (CCTV) system for criminal activity and/or violations of regulations, company policies and procedures. Videotapes such activities where appropriate and reports observations to appropriate officials. Applicants should have experience in law enforcement and/or video surveillance equipment. Must not be directly related to any persons employed by Diamond Jo Worth. This is a part-time position averaging 30 hours per week. Applicants must be available Swing/all shifts.
Table Games
Dealer - Experienced
Diamond Jo Casino has openings for experienced Table Games Dealers. There are five (5) full-time positions on Swing shift available. The successful candidate will possess a working knowledge of Table Games and be able to obtain or currently possess an IRGC badge. Excellent communications skills and interpersonal relations are a must in this position.

A license shall be denied if the applicant has a current addiction to alcohol or a controlled substance, has a history of mental illness without sufficient evidence of rehabilitation, or has a history of repeated acts of violence without sufficient evidence of rehabilitation.
The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation will conduct a complete background investigation on each applicant.
